We are seeking an outstanding Registered Nurse for the USC Westside Cancer Center (WCC), a concierge oncology clinic providing individualized, high quality care. Serving adult and geriatric oncology patients, the WCC is looking for an individual to provide skilled nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy, intravenous infusions and investigational drugs. Job responsibilities will include venipuncture, screening tests, health/patient education, immunization administration, patient assessment, administration of chemotherapeutic agents, vascular access device management, skill with infusion pumps and participation in clinical research. Current California RN license, CPR certification, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate, and excellent IV skills are required. Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate to serve as a research trainee in the Ruderman Laboratory for the purpose of enhancing and developing research competencies of our Ellison Institute. The qualified cell biologist candidate will have a strong interest in cancer biology. They will use and build on cell lines developed in the lab to develop co-cultures and study the effects of hypoxia on the dynamics of different cell populations using a high throughput imaging platform. Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate to work cancer cell biology and drug development in the Ruderman Laboratory. The applicant will use and build on cell lines developed in the lab to screen small molecules using a high throughput imaging platform. He or she will work in close collaboration with a diverse team consisting of cancer researchers, computational scientists and clinicians to generate and evaluate quantitative microscopy imaging data. Key technical skills include mammalian tissue culture, live cell imaging and analysis using advanced image analysis software. Senior Research Associate

We are seeking a Senior Research Associate and biological researcher who is capable of working with a team to develop and can apply innovative technologies to cancer target discovery. The qualified candidate will be responsible for live cell and tissue imaging using advanced microscopy techniques. These will include two-photon imaging, laser confocal imaging, the use of fluorescent dyes and chromogenic stains. This position will involve the analysis of high-throughput microscopy image data using software such as Imaris and PerkinElmer’s Harmony. The candidate will perform cell culture tasks, including the generation and culturing of patient-derived tumor organoids, and prepare cancer tissue specimens for drug screening. This position involves the design and documentation of experiments, detailed record-keeping, and weekly presentations to supervisory staff. Statistician II

We are seeking a Statistician II who will use clinical study data analyses and machine learning techniques to effectively extract and manipulate clinical data sets for analysis. This role involves close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, computer scientists, mathematicians, statisticians, and economists. Additionally, the Statistician will perform statistical analyses of clinical data to discover novel associations between clinical/environmental/socioeconomic factors and disease status and/or outcome. They will develop input methodology and data file structure, overseeing data entry and maintenance of data files, including backups and hard copies. Data sets may include high-dimensional multi-omic data, time series from live cell microscopy, and complex clinical data from electronic medical records. They will perform low-level data manipulations, including locating/downloading data from public resources, populating databases, and data reformatting. In addition the candidate will design, code, test, debug, document and maintain computer programs for statistical analysis as needed; installing and testing software, overseeing maintenance of hardware and software.
