Job Opportunities

Computer Scientist

We are seeking a machine learning expert who has a strong interest in cancer research. The Computer Scientist candidate will collaborate with biological scientists and clinicians to understand their experiments and data to devise predictive machine learning platforms. Expertise in multiple machine learning approaches, including SVMs, DCNNs, and elastic nets is required. The ability to communicate effectively with biologists and clinicians on their own terms is essential. The successful applicant will be capable of working with complex multi-modal data and distilling them into formats appropriate for machine learning. Data sets will include histopathology images, high-dimensional multi-omic data, time series from live cell microscopy, and complex clinical data from electronic medical records. The candidate must be willing to perform low-level data manipulations, including locating/downloading data from public resources, populating databases, and data reformatting. Learn More & Apply…

Data Wrangler

We are seeking a Data Wrangler with a strong interest in cancer biology to complement our Data Management and Analytics team. In this role, you will develop and implement robust and effective data management solutions as part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, biologists, computer scientists, mathematicians, statisticians, and economists. Together, you will formulate and execute data management plans and ensure the quality and integrity of the data throughout its lifecycle. Data sets may include high-dimensional multi-omic data, time series from live cell microscopy, and complex clinical data from electronic medical records. Learn More & Apply…

Postdoctoral Research Associate

We are seeking a talented and passionate Postdoctoral Research Associate who has a strong interest in cancer biology. The qualified candidate will study the impact that exosomes derived from the tumor microenvironment have on pancreatic cancer initiation, progression, and therapeutic resistance using 2D and 3D cell cultures and mouse models. The projects will involve isolating extracellular vesicles produced by cancer associated fibroblasts, and pancreatic cancer cells; characterizing the cargo of the isolated microvesicles; and examining if the isolated microvesicles are able to induce phenotypic and genotypic changes on neighboring healthy and diseased cells. Learn More & Apply…
