Computer Scientist

We are seeking a machine learning expert who has a strong interest in cancer research. The Computer Scientist candidate will collaborate with biological scientists and clinicians to understand their experiments and data to devise predictive machine learning platforms. Expertise in multiple machine learning approaches, including SVMs, DCNNs, and elastic nets is required. The ability to communicate effectively with biologists and clinicians on their own terms is essential. The successful applicant will be capable of working with complex multi-modal data and distilling them into formats appropriate for machine learning. Data sets will include histopathology images, high-dimensional multi-omic data, time series from live cell microscopy, and complex clinical data from electronic medical records. Events & Communications Manager

We are seeking a Events & Communications Manager who will coordinate the overall design, flow, and feel of Rebels With a Cause gala, our primary fundraising event, and provide support through the planning process to ensure the event meets standards and expectations, manage printed event collateral including invitations, programs and posters in accordance with EI and USC editorial policies, maintain detailed event files and updated information on event attendees, donors, and friends of the University as needed, develop and maintain an extensive list of contacts, internal and external to facilitate event coordination. We are seeking a talented Registered Nurse – Oncology who will be responsible for delivering nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology and wellness patients in an ambulatory setting. The individual will provide skilled nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy, intravenous infusions and investigational drugs. We are seeking a Research Lab Technician II who has a strong interest in cancer biology, who is eager to learn a broad range of wet lab skills, and is capable of working in a team. The qualified candidate will become a part of our Cell Line Team, which involves building and characterizing the lab’s biorepository of both cancer cells and patient derived 3D-organoid lines.
