Michael serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Lawrence J. Ellison Institute of USC. In this role, he guides and supports our strategic alliances with major corporations, foundations and other key partners, manages academic-industry collaborations, and helps to advance our strategic development efforts. Michael came to Ellison Institute from USC Health Sciences Advancement, where he oversaw fundraising and development for Keck Discovery Sciences for two years. Prior to joining USC, he was an executive development leader in global health sciences at UCSF and in biological sciences at UC San Diego for almost a decade. Michael earned his MA in organizational development from Chapman University, and BA in political science and communications from University of Calgary.
