At the Ellison Institute, Ellen is a Research Programmer in the Lee/Matasci Lab, where she implements software solutions to advance research projects in areas including microscopy image analysis and machine learning. Prior to joining the Ellison Institute, she worked as a software engineer at Amazon.com. Ellen earned her BS in Computer Science and a BS in Physics from USC. In her free time, Ellen enjoys hiking, watching and playing sports, and spending time with her dogs.
