Leng-Ying joined the Ellison Institute in 2013 where she has been working in the Gross Laboratory ever since.  She uses laboratory models to better understand cancer including the tumor associated microenvironment. She also is working on developing alternative approaches to conventional chemotherapy for cancer with collaborators in the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC involving technologies that include highly-focused ultrasound and nanoparticles. Leng- Ying earned her MS in Molecular Biology from National Chung-Hsing University. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and playing with her two young children.
