Sean is the Maintenance Technician IV at the Lawrence J. Ellison Institute for Transformative Medicine of USC. As a Veteran of the US Army with 25 years of experience in the maintenance field, he brings electrical, plumbing and HVAC/R expertise to his role at the Ellison Institute. Sean earned his Bachelor of Science Healthcare Management from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and he also studied Facility Management at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.  At the University of California, Los Angeles, he became designated as an OSHA Trainer. He is also certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Section 608 to handle ozone-depleting refrigerant gases such as chlorofluorocarbons and hydrofluorocarbons. He is familiar with working in lab environments in which aseptic technique is vital.  In his spare time, Sean enjoys bicycling and hiking.
